No matter how egregiously laws were broken and Constitution flouted, if it's politically touchy, going to piss off a rats' nest of lobbyists, it's just not going to get prosecuted. Stupid old Blago, though, really helps Obama politically if he gets prosecuted to the hilt... which he may well deserve, but not any more so, not anywhere near more so, than the torturers and spies getting walks on their filthy acts.
