I wonder when it will occur to Swanson there has been a coup, that perhaps 9/11 was the coup, or perhaps even the 2000 election was the coup.... Holder assured Swanson on the way out of a hearing recently, in answer to a question about prosecuting torturers, "You will be proud of your government." Did he mean he'd be proud or end up in a concentration camp, or whut?

ReplyDeleteYes. I think that's when they first tried it, but I don't think they got serious-enough, strong-enough, until 2000. Took them all that time to get the people they needed in the positions they needed.
ReplyDeleteI hold out hope that those people are being covertly knocked out of place, which was the "proud" part Holder was speaking about, but, well, you know, I am a dreamer....
