I'd probably be all jaded from the Soviet times, but it just doesn't seem to me that Russians are anything like the bad faith actors we are. I don't think they even were in Soviet times. I think lots of the countries and leaders and governments we vilify aren't anything like we make them out to be. I think we've been played for saps since earliest childhood, and, mostly, we lived up to expectations.
