just too good to pass up

Al Jazeera is so much better than the other news outlets, and they have a lot of other stations you can get and add on when you download their player. If yer a news junkie, this might be the end for you.

For instance, I just learned that Rafsanjani is leading the Friday Prayers in Tehran today, within the hour, and Mousavi will be attending. The first thing that leapt to mind was that it was an ideal scene for our assassins. I hope I'm just overheated from the ugliness of all this, but I'm not going to be surprised if I wake up to really bad news... or maybe I'll just stay up and wait for breaking news on al Jazeera....

Anyway, this is a way you can get a much better idea of what's really going on in the world than on the boob tube....

3am... Nobody was assassinated. Thousands of supporters/protesters showed up but were beaten back with tear gas and batons. Rafsanjani called for the release of imprisoned protesters.

So those horrible mean dictators let their opposition have their say and held their resolve on the mass gatherings. Sounds to me like they are trying to make a way of reconciliation that does not involve the destabilization the West is so avid for. I do not know what is wrong with that. I'm so sick with worry, I'd have gone out with red and white spray paint to balance them with, just to make a statement of my irk.
