This will have at least doubled already, because the moratorium on foreclosures was lifted as soon as winter was over. I'm having some trouble finding sources with decent information, estimates and projections... even the kind you know you have to add points to because they're trying to under-report. There were close to a million homeless families reported in 2007, which means there were radically more then, and things have gotten exponentially worse since then. So I guess you'll just have to imagine from there... or... just walk outside and start calling. Do a little fancy math with the number of responses you get, extrapolate out to nationwide, and you'll probably have done a better job than any government agency or Washington think tank.
