You really should just download it so you can read page 431, starting at line 17, to see what the wingnuts' knickers are so twisted about. So, what exactly are they up in arms about the above?
They're telling everyone it means a committee will decide how you die, and when you die. What it SAYS is that they have to respect any end of life orders by the PATIENT insofar as they come in a form endorsed by a consensus-based organization... for example: a living will, where you fill out and sign a form giving orders for how you want to be treated and who you want to make your decisions for you in case something goes wrong in a surgery, or just if you're old and don't want anyone playing fast and loose with your decisions about being resuscitated, that sort of thing.

I could go through and make an even bigger stink about a big long list of OTHER things, and it would be LUCID.
That's why I'm telling you, this bullshit from the right SERVES the Democrats who don't want to take the political fallout for fucking us over! They can come back and say their constituents screamed so hard about socialized medicine and killing their grandparents that they can't give us universal health care.
We'll get a couple little breaks, MAYBE. We might even see an end to the pre-existing condition shit, but THAT will only be temporary, rest assured, IF they manage to keep that much in this crappy bill, and THIS bill is the one BEFORE all the wrassling in committee. Who KNOWS how fucked up it's gotten since it was introduced!
