quantum physicists still irk me

They keep trying to use the little black holes of understanding that fascinate them so much to do stuff on which perfect understanding depends. I want to know how they can make assertions about things like, oh, reliability, when they don't even understand what's taking place in these little quanta they set up to accomplish their dreams.

And, I'd also like to see what might happen if they ever turned their brains on something as mundane as, say, politics....
