swimming up from irk to a type of awe

I was looking for a way from the psychedelic edge of the cadences of a clutch of nearby Hispanic men, one or more of whom kept emitting a coyote-like mixture of language and laughter. It wasn't crushingly loud, but quite audible and not really very convenient for me to shut out. I needed to do something about it because it was harking up feelings I imagine are akin to what some would avidly call "racist"... a hatred was being evoked by this disorienting mimicry or accident of distorted sound waves and I didn't want to pay it any mind.

Completely accidentally, while googling for something else, right before diving into a compelling enough audio experience to distract from that awful cacophony a block or so away, I hit upon this, and ended up needing to listen to it because the guy is such a curious mixture of annoyingly acidic and extra-lucid. I think you should give him a try.

Here's something he wrote six years ago, if you prefer to just read....
