  2. Hi, Doug!

No. I bought a new one. Will be paying on it for the rest of time and it isn't as nice as the old one, even though it's much faster and fancier.

I'm a damn wreck. Can't get anything off my old machine until it's fixed or turned into an external drive. All my billions of bookmarks and blogging tricks and image tools are all akimbo or missing completely and it's just not going to be pretty for quite a while.

    But... technically... I'm here.

  5. Yuh. That's the Zen approach for sure and I just need to keep my tail out of a knot about all this upheaval. I see my daily visitors went tanking the minute I announced my death. Hope I get it together to blog some more stuff and get my little crowd back.... Even though, I have been ripening to the point where I really feel I may start going in different directions online. This week with part of my brain blacked out on me has put me back in touch with my personal power source. So, heck, it could get better or differenter here pretty soon.

  6. Ain't nothing like having the silence of no computers for several days. It makes ya get some neglected life things in order.

    Regarding getting your data back.
I wonder if this would work for ya?

  7. Thanks, Phil, but it's going to be simple as heck once I get to the Apple Store. I just live too far away from everything to just pop to the repair shop is my problem. If it's the power supply on the old machine, I'll have it replaced and I'll have a perfect computer back. If it isn't, I'll have them yank the hard drive and turn it into an external drive for my new machine. The hitch is getting it together to make ANOTHER looooooong trip.

  8. Sorry about that, I assume everyone just orders parts online and have them delivered. I guess I am getting too tied to eBay. (I love it) But anyway, I'd relax if I were you, since whatever happened has happened, you can't change it. Although you might be able to fix it still.

Anyway yeah peace, do what you have to do. I was only throwing ideas out. I would love to have an iMac, but the first thing I would have to do is fork out more dough for Final Cut Pro, as I wouldn't be happy with iVideo at all.
