the opacity of hope

I like this because it is a deeply intelligent man trying his hardest to be upbeat about the candidate who was our only option against certain disaster. Maybe I'm projecting, but it seems to me that he came prepared to be a lot more blunt until the woman introducing him started out so appallingly giddy about Barack Obama.

Maybe. Probably....

Now I think I have a crush on Simon Critchley. Although, there seems to be a deep antipathy between him and our adored Slavoj Žižek....
