I think it's a great idea for newspapers and magazines and textbooks, stuff that we almost 100% of the time only look at once and then never go back to... especially if they can make it no more cumbersome than a paperback. It's just for other kinds of literature where it seems wrong to me, where it needs to be in a format that doesn't go out of use, physically present at whim.
