Three U.N. employees confirmed dead, and a luxury hotel has been hit by rocket fire....

What a fortuitous moment for such a thing... and didn't something similar happen in Baghdad at a similar juncture in our invasion of Iraq?

UPDATE: 10pm Pacific Time, 9:30am Kabul Time, dawn attack on Kubul guest house, three suicide bombers, and gunfight just ended, five... no.... six U.N. staff confirmed dead. Serena Hotel [five stars] hit by rockets, but no casualties.

Maybe in response to our decision to pay the enemy to let us win... I mean, just look at how well that worked in Iraq. Don't you just love being us?
