... even a lot of the wealthiest Californians might be a lot more amenable to making these changes if first they would try actually costing our huge corporations some real money for the privilege of doing business here in paradise... if the people making billions off us would cough up a little more, share the burden... but instead we gotta keep getting these kinds of reasonablish-sounding proposals from perfidious fucks who just want to bust every break the little guy ever gets and use this catastrophe brought on by evil fascists to get it done. If, after everyone is paying their fair share, we still need to talk about things like amending Prop 13 and smoothing out the income tax boom and bust problem, I think the pollsters will find us much more willing to take the carrot of the simple majority in exchange for paying more.
