Needing as she does to counter certain accusations and speculations set loose in the effort to make Sibel's stuff hit the MSM, this woman is attempting something dangerous. Of course, it will only be dangerous if she gets tough in pursuing these ends... knowing as everyone does that making public these [unfailingly unsuccessful] attempts at wonderful governance are the stock in trade of all American politicians... particularly Democratic ones.

Thanks, BB2. That gross understatement was what made me skeptical about her dedication. Though, there IS a difference between the total number of contractors and the so-called "security contractors".... Even so, I don't think this is a genuine attempt to do anything but rehabilitate herself from being outed by sensationalists for a lesbian tryst with no evidence whatsoever that she allowed herself to be blackmailed by it.

ReplyDeleteYes, and leaving aside the fact that it is probably fueling her sudden wish to make us think she's trying to make companies like Blackwater go away, the use of this dubious intelligence to sensationalize Sibel's story enough to get it in the MSM—which, by the way, FAILED utterly, despite its crassness—my purpose was to point out, again, how this theater of progress is used by politicians, especially Democratic ones, merely to plant positive ideas in the heads of voters and to help cement the incessant partisan polemicizing that keeps the plutocracy in good working order.
