Apart from how obvious it is that many powerful people would be disposed to discrediting him, to frame him or entrap him to discredit him, this is very hard to believe... any way you look at it. If he did it, it's unbelievable after all the shit he went through on this account a few years ago, and if he didn't do it, it's unbelievable after all the work we've done to get a power structure in place that wouldn't do this filthy stuff. The existence of so many unreconstructable horndogs makes this—again, any way you look at it—possible at all.

  2. If you haven't yet, be sure to catch Moyers from last night. Unfortunately I only saw the first 20 minutes or so, but it was good!

  3. Well, I was non compos mentis yesterday and trying to make up for it a little now that I have had some sleep.

It is indeed horrifically sad, from every angle... any damn way you slice it... even setting aside the question of if he is innocent or guilty.... I guess it is possible that he might have actually been stupid enough to seek this kind of pervy release online and fallen prey to the generic truism that any underage sex partner to be found online is a cop, and not some concerted effort to bring him down, shut him up, but by now it seems too much like that is what is going on. That is even worse than somebody getting their freak on in front of teenyboppers....

  4. And, yes, I'm going to do Moyers when I'm caught up more from my muddle and distraction from yesterday.

  5. Thomas Frank is the part I saw. Excellent.

I'm trying to watch the rest, but my connection is so poor it just keeps stopping evry 20 seconds. Fuck!

I need to go and clean the terminals outside the house. I tightened them a couple of weeks ago and it helped a lot then, but it's degrade to near uselessness again.

  6. Yeah, but is this a setup to discredit Scott Ritter? It's always sex when they setup someone. See: Eliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton, etc...
