The host does not need the parasites.

Do you think I'd be more clear if I called it "neoliberal oligarchy" instead of "fascism"?

I'm sitting here wondering about the few people out there freaking and screaming during the Great Depression, how frustrated they must have been... mind just sort of scudding across the expanse of history for the ions of insight it might spark and I'm wishing to be speaking with maniacs long in their graves.

I am also trying to concentrate on what a mercy it is that Poppa is too scrambled to take this stuff in.

In fact, I think we all need to practice the art of being happy for the people who die.

  2. Yes, I use that word a lot... but I keep thinking that saying FASCISM will alert people to the direness of the situation... fascism being, I would THINK, more familiar to the general population than feudalism.... Some assholes, Brad Friedman among them, think it's better to use the word "corporatism" so as not to frighten the horses... sort of like not using the word "truth" in the same sentence as the term "9/11"... more genteel, so easier to swallow. Maybe we need to think up a whole new word for the full-spectrum eviltude of these murderating mindfuckers, start a meme, get it into general circulation, introduce the conception of actuality through the use of novelty....

Maybe we should track down Floridiot to help with this. He's very, very good at making up les mots juste in situations like this....

  3. Dang,

It did it again - when I set my ID to Google it takes me to the google log-in page, then returns to the comment edit box, only I have to hit post two more times before it posts. I guess I only hit it once since my post didn't appear.

    So - Here!
