And I want to hurl over how partisanship has blinded nearly everyone in America. Do you hear that? You're making me sick!
As the urgency for Democrats increases for the health care overhaul, a pragmatic air is settling in among some Democratic groups that once were lukewarm to the legislation.

Moveon.org, the liberal advocacy group, took a vote of its membership last week and found that 83 percent said the House should pass the Senate bill. Not long ago, the group was urging Democrats to push for a stronger measure that included a public option.
You only want universal care if it won't mean the Democratic Fascists lose votes.

Fuck.

  1. Grrrrrr...

It dumped my comment! It went to the Blogger sign-in page and it said my password was wrong. When I re-entered it I got a Blogger error message and my comment was gone.

Now they have captcha and if you autofill the password it rejects it!

    What a pain!

  2. Stall and re-write, Stall and re-write, Stall and re-write, Stall and re-write,...

Until everybody is so sick and tired of it they give in to the feeling of "fuck it, sign something and get it over with!"

  3. I guess some people have been trying to comment here for a long time and never, or only rarely, succeed at all... or so have been reports emailed to me... and the ONLY fix I can think of is to get my own site and my own commenting system. This would be a stupendous amount of work for me and probably too much money as well.

I think I'd go for it anyway, except that I seem to be on the verge of changing my whole approach all the time lately... so... well... fuck... the THING that decides me has not happened....

And you can bet yer sweet bippy this shit was planned! I've just been watching some "progressive" [fascist in denial] asshole blow smoke up our asses about there being 51 votes in the Senate for a public option, about how the Senate will break with the president to get this done.

    BARNSWOGGLE!!!!!

The insurance lobby OWNS all of them, and they are OBVIOUSLY, dirt obviously, slobbering to get this "insurance reform" bill passed, and WITHOUT a public option... but even WITH one it would STILL be TOTAL fascist shit, BECAUSE THERE ARE NO CAPS ON PREMIUMS.

THAT MEANS EVERYBODY THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR GETS PUT INTO THE EQUIVALENT OF MEDICAID... WHICH ENDS UP HURTING THEM EVEN LESS THAN THE BILL WITHOUT THE PUBLIC OPTION.

If they are in fact opposed to the public option at all, and it isn't clear to me that they are, the ONLY reason for that would be that the bill language would have to be too shaky... too threatening of ACTUAL competition somehow worming in.

THEY'RE ALL FUCKING PIGS AND SHOULD BE TURNED INTO BACON.

  9. No. It's the cookies gig... like it used to be with the NYT. Hassle and a half for people like me... people who won't leave an unwanted cookie on their machine for more than a minute.
