did she already do the big lie, or is that later tonight?

I am going to listen to this interview instead. We KNOW McVeigh did not act alone, and in fact may have been the patsy, and believe you me I am way unhappy about Rachel doing this, even as I am already way unhappy with her. I do NOT like watching any of those we've thought were on our side so long showing how seriously not-on-our-side they will be.

But you can just ignore me if you want. I'm just back from getting a new battery for Goldie. The old new one tanked, and she is not dead after all, but I have been a basket case for about 48 hours now anyway, and have progressed to the phase where I can not feel relief because I don't trust that this is the fix. They said it was the fix the last time, when in fact it was a new alternator that was the fix, and now that I have a new battery it may only take a few days to be dead in the water again.... At least it was not the carburetors. Those cannot be replaced or rebuilt.

Everyone between Brookings and Crescent City is uncomfortably aware of my need for a wealthy socialist gentleman.

Again.

So I'm going to cook myself the really fine steak I got on monster sale a few weeks ago and was saving for a rainy day, and I'm EVEN going to make some brandy sauce for it... sauté an onion... have a huge glass of milk and a hot logger martini for dessert. I'm opening all the windows and doors and smoking at my desk.

My Zen will arrive later this evening.

I don't know if you will be able to tell.

  5. You know I've was saying OKC bombing was an inside job when no one else cared about it, years ago. No one ever talks about OKC being an inside job.

  6. Go here, click on AFP search (not web search), and put in Oklahoma City:

  7. You guys should listen to that interview. The point here, today, tonight, now, is that RACHEL MADDOW is doing this cable exclusive PACK OF LIES that favor the fascistic government and helps cast protest as terrorism.

THAT'S A FUCKING SEEEEEERIOUS BREACH OF AMERICANTUDE... AND IT'S THE EXALTED RACHEL DOING IT!!!!

    Doesn't that SCARE you?

  8. How can we howl about the whoppers on Fox when even BIGGER whoppers are being dished out from MSNBC?

    FUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKK!

    Fuck.

  9. I see this all the time. She's either been told to do this, or she hasn't researched the truth about OKC. No, it doesn't scare me. I see it all the time. She does lots of great things, too.

I can find fault in everyone, including Rachel, Olbermann, Schultz, Ratigan...the only progressives on even a semi-major news channel.

I can find fault in Glenn Greenwald, which I did when he agreed with the SCOTUS decision about corporations having unlimited "free speech" to give money to politicians.

Yeah, she's wrong about this. It's just like 9/11. There's too many holes in the official story, therefore the official story is a whitewash.

  10. This is the same argument over and over again: I'm always for the lesser of two evils, rather than lumping everyone that's not 100% to my liking into one category and totally ignoring them.

  11. Alex Jones: I disagree on a lot of things he says, and he ignores racism as if it doesn't exist...but he's right on a lot of important things.

I think of Rachel Maddow as I think of Alex Jones: just pick the good stuff off them.

  12. But most importantly on THIS subject...Maddow's wrong about the official OKC story. See? I don't blindly follow anyone! She's WRONG!

  13. It sort of irks me, and it shouldn't, that I was talking about OKC being an inside job years ago, and no one ever cared. Not you, I don't mean you. But I'd comment everywhere, and no one said a word when I said this.

  15. Danny, you make a good point about picking the good stuff from certain people, and we're pretty much stuck with that since nobody will oblige us and just be perfect all the time, but there is a vast right/left wing conspiracy, so to speak, out to continue to do us and the world harm... really lethal harm.

I mustered myself to watch that piece of shit she did last night and it was filthy, completely filthy. They barely bothered to take much from the hours and hours of tape they had of him, replayed the bits they wanted to use a bunch of times, had everybody else in there saying what they wanted said, even went so far as to have an actor with a digitally enhanced face stand in for McVeigh on visuals.

IT WAS PURE MINDFUCKING FROM START TO FINISH. IT WAS DESPICABLE.

It crossed my mind that Maddow might have lost on drawing straws with KO for which of them had to help them produce that piece of shit. I kept thinking of all the credulous people across America tuned in and ready to applaud when the government starts arresting groups trying to form to defend the constitution, the people, against the police state. I kept hoping there were people out there watching and realizing that a teenager could spot the whoppers in that, EVEN if they don't know things like in the video OUD linked.

There are good people, intelligent people, patriotic people, humanitarian people who are not blasting us with FILTHY propaganda from murderous oligarchs, but Rachel Maddow is clearly NOT one of them.
