Words can be really dangerous sometimes.

Five thousand, a hundred thousand, something like that...whutever... just slap some more words on it.

  1. Add to that this:

Meteorologists say that climate conditions are ripe for an unusually destructive hurricane season, the storm-prone period that runs from June 1 to the end of November in the Gulf.

Katrina's going to look like a spring breeze in the park!

  2. We need a big eraser to scrub out all those words that aren't happening or were totally deceptive, whichever be the case!

  3. Yes, I couldn't post this image except in the very most ironic way.

I can't help thinking of those planes that go up in hurricanes, get above them to take readings. What if we started dropping presidents and BP execs and their ilk from these planes into the hurricanes this season? You do know that they will be DELIGHTED to be prevented from feigning action by hurricanes, don't you? So why not drop them in?

  4. So why not drop them in?

Avoiding the Eye of course! Only the Eye Wall will do!

  5. My understanding is that they fly down into the eye to get their readings and zoom back up and out before the wall hits them, and so this would be the perfect time to drop them... just as they get out of the eye. Whatever is falling will be hit by the wall and Bob will be our uncle.

  6. No, drop them on the way in, lighten the load for the climb back out!

  7. Well, I thought of that, but chances are that would drop them into the eye, because the hurricane wall is moving away on the descent, better odds of success on the way out.... Doesn't really matter because I'm not including parachutes and even if they hit before the wall gets to them, the wall WILL get to them on the ground, spread their bits around that way.
