  1. But wait - that second one claims to be King Crimson - so where is Fripp?

Great version, but they still don't have it right.
I remember you pointing that out to me once.

  2. It was everybody except Fripp... and Lake. I just thought Jakko Jakszyk did a spectacular job of it in that performance. No one, NO ONE sings like Greg Lake, but he managed to do that song and not make me miss him... or Fripp. All those guys have always been unabashed about switching each other out and doing all kinds of "super group" gigs anyway. They have a sort of society of monster-good musicians and they get creative about it.

  3. I saw them at the Milwaukee opera house in '75 or early 76. Only 3 in the band then Fripp and ? and?.

Absolutely awesome - sounded every bit as good as the whole bunch of them.

NO ONE sings like Greg Lake

  6. Greg and Greg [song he wrote at age 12] and Greg... always made me wish I could be floating naked on a cloud.

  7. Still You Turn Me On and Epitaph are perhaps my favorite songs of all time.

This one made me cry when I first heard it. Still gets to me...

  8. This is ridiculous -

Yesterday record cold - barely broke 60. Today 84!

    Need a little adjustment time!

  9. Very nice here, too, but still the COLD wind wrecking the sun's warmth.

I fully expect a scary-hot Fall in counterpoint to this.

    Remember I said this.
