But I cannot even yet bring myself to believe that Russia and China are, in fact, any part of even watered down sanctions... even though that seems to be what the cognoscenti have made of Clinton's OUTRAGEOUS response to the news of the deal between Brazil and Turkey and Iran that ought to quell any rational person's irrational fears of Iran and nukes of any kind. I think those cognoscenti were as dumbfounded by it as everyone else was and put it together by means of the same almost completely nonexistent nonresponses I'd found to arrive at the possibility that Russia and China had agreed to let her SAY that in exchange for sanctions that do not sanction Iran, that everyone's just going about the business of plugging each and every wild excuse to harm Iran being generated by Washington DC as calmly and gently as possible so as not to alarm the eight-hundred-pound psychotic gorilla in the room.
So. What I think actually happened is that Clinton just lost it. It shocked everyone. Then they decided that this was their opportunity to turn our extreme sanctions thing into no-sanctions-at-all sanctions... and Ahmadinejad is now helping them deliver on this exploitation of her outrageous blunder. If we make a peep in the Security Council, Hillary's pants will be pulled down. Maybe you want to think of it as them helping us not sanction Iran despite the dictates of AIPAC, giving the administration political cover for not starving Iranians before nuking them, but, well, fine.... Whatever.
