This does show what fries me about climate deniers. They don't seem to grok that, even if the science is dead wrong on it, there is STILL the matter of our pollution, which has risen to the level of a mass extinction event of itself.
THAT is UNdeniable.
Leadership need NOT be so uniformly accomplished by sociopaths. It has not always been this way. Take indians. They chose their leaders according to their wisdom and spiritual attainment. Hell, even in hereditary monarchies, at least it was a crapshoot. You could stumble upon a sane person in the lineage. As it is: ONLY sociopaths have the drive to get to the top.

2) Exploit nuclear even though it is much more costly and also more environmentally dangerous
3) Starve and devastate billions of people by imposing a renewable energy regime

Whatever makes you think that third choice HAS to involve starving and devastating billions of people, my advice is first:

The wind and solar development was never anything more that window dressing in a mad bait and switch scheme to build a new generation of nuclear power plants and WMDs. There is simply not enough surface area to cover with solar panels and turbines and they are far too costly. Ditto for biofuels. Study up.
