google's little problem with their motto

As you know, Google owns just about everything people like to use on the intertubes, not the least of which is YouTube. Beside their ugly habit of ripping down anything about which they get even bogus complaints, they also suspend [a euphemism for "cancel"] people's accounts with some unhappy regularity. Well. I've noticed something else they do.

They keep the view counts low on videos you know have gotten more views than that. I noticed it with Simmons videos and I noticed it this morning with RT videos. The RT channel has well over twelve thousand subscribers, yet some of their best videos only register a couple of hundred views. I know they are viewed by more people than that. I know also that the more views on a video the more interest in viewing it the masses become. Never mind that I think this is one of the weaker features of the human mentality, it ain't normal that these videos are only registering a few hundred views.
