I stayed awake for the tests, but could NOT stay awake more than five minutes in history class. I have NO clue why the teachers didn't remedy this, but I guess they figured if I could pass my tests it was good enough.
Now, in my great quest for the ultimate PhD, I find I cannot manage to stay awake long enough to hear this Neil Kramer fellow say whatever it is he has to say. He has a WONDERFUL voice. I can tell that much, and that he talks about all kinds of things suitably out there enough to be riveting, but how would I know? It quickly becomes impossible for me to sit up and then I'm hearing this soothing accent going in and out on me and by the time I come back to the party he's not speaking anymore.
Does he do that on purpose?
Is this the cure for insomnia?
I got all determined about this one, but am getting a heck of a lot of sleep in instead. It's now getting toward late, and I'm drinking coffee twice as stiff as usual and I'm goddam going at it again now....

See there? Declaring my difficulty got me past it. That was fairly interesting but it cut off before, I think, he was anywhere near done talking.... So maybe I'll go back and try to find another playlist of him and see if I've broken my streak for real or this was just a one off....
I'm going to try this one next....
