i think we've been had

I can't help it. I really, really think we have let ourselves be dumbed down so badly that it is a miracle there are people out there able to cut through it to bring us stuff that may be more like real information than anything we thought we knew. As I've said before, I just realized one day, quite a few years ago, that I was certain "we" were all wrong about the amount of time humans have been happening, and that we had been vastly more advanced at some point in that loooong time. I trust it the most because it came to me from the place where unerring knowledge has always come.

I don't post these things to be entertaining, or spend time on them to be entertained. I find them so soothing because they are actually positive spaces in a world where horrors just never stop abounding. There's freedom and energy, vitality inhering attention to these outliers, these wonderful people who try so hard to communicate their insights and ideas, EVEN when they're off down a garden path, but even more so when they are not.

Yes, it sucks to have to discern for yourself, but as I have just been reminded by a friend, aging is not for wimps, and we are aging. We don't have "all the time in the world"... or rather, we do, and so we shouldn't waste it being horrified and flummoxed and made supine by a creeping despair. We need to open our heads and let the spring air in. We will kill the planet if we do not. No excuses. You are not too poor to open your head, and not too senile, and not too stupid to get it done. Who cares if it's a blow to your ego to find out what a bonehead you are if it can save the world?

  1. Where do you find this stuff?

    Fascinating video!

I've seen "newspaper rock" and many other petrographic creations with my own eyes.

Interestingly, art is the only thing that, (sometimes), survives the ravages of the powerful and the vandals. But enough gets through somehow.

    Thanks!

  2. You are completely, completely welcome.

I find this stuff by springing off of web pages from people all over into zones that put me in range of these links. Sometimes I just google up something in the approximate genre I want and pore through it till I get something I like. Many different roads leading to whatever Rome you might be needing. Karma starts helping when your heart is in the right place.

  3. It's true!

Gravity can be defeated with a simple magnet and without gravity we would instantly perish. Comedy at it's best!

    Science is full of wonders!

  5. One thing I don't think they addressed, or if they did I missed it, was if the comet tails are purely plasma - where do the meteor showers come from?

  6. The explanation for sunspots being dark was real convincing. You can even see the surface matter pouring into them in the close-ups.

  7. It also explains the Nazi Bell stuff better, explains a lot.
