    Sowwy.

    It's a hard job trying to bring up stuff with interesting concepts in it, or exposing the real through a transcendent lens because I almost always only get crickets... or someone coming in to dis my obsession with space aliens while warmongering and being a fascist tool... a "disinfo agent"... or for not obsessing on nine-years-ago-Saturday while doing all this.

    I was going to bring up all the riots and protests in Europe where the author points out how Americans are strangely docile, and I was going to pull out that Parenti "Real History" audio again to try to hammer it in that this IS fascism, in my immortal delusion that it will penetrate the clouds that have benighted the masses, but it's only so much I can do while juggling my pills and drops and freaking out about my Poppa.

    I'm trying to think of a nice cowboy book I can bring down to read to him, if he's still alive by the time I can get there. :(

    I replied: I think you are on to something there Dan. This morning the little ticker tape thingy at the bottom of the screen during the morning news kept proclaiming that the FBI was warning of terrorist attacks in retaliation and Obummer was calling it a recruiting tool for al Qaeda.

    Once again - "Be afraid, be very afraid!"

    Yes - if the media had just ignored this it would be meaningless, instead they play it out every 15 minutes on the news and in the papers turning some idiot radical preacher of a 50 person congregation into an international incident.

    FUCK!

    Strictly speaking, no, I do not. I can see fine with my cheaters now. Just a big hassle, BUT my mother, who is looking for EVERY excuse to keep me away, is digging in her heels about it and griping even that I would come directly as the eye thing is handled.

    BIG PROBLEM.

    I have to rely on her to put me up, and she's being really awful about it.

    She fucking went and had her hair done while my dad was hauled off to the ER with a stroke. She's not exactly what you would call willing to face ANYTHING unpleasant... and I think she unmoored herself from any family feeling for everyone but her brother... and maybe my sister.

    IT'S FUCKING BEYOND THE PALE AWFUL. She's got mental problems... big time... but, as far as she's concerned, she's the only one with her head on straight.

    So. You might forgive me for sometimes weakening and pleading for my wealthy socialist gentleman....
