He damn well came in off the campaign trail to urge the Senate to approve the bank bailouts. He does anything Wall Street wants. He took the stimulus package that might have worked and cut it in half. He did NOT perform at ALL on helping homeowners get renegotiated loans to prevent foreclosure. He has retained his psycopathological position vis-à-vis Iran in order to hedge with millions of human lives against the close-to-dead dollar he helped tank....
President Barack Obama insisted Friday that the U.S. economy is digging itself out of the deepest recession in decades but conceded that "progress has been painfully slow" and many voters in November's elections may blame him.
So Einstein comes out to mention that the voters might want to take it out on him, as though he had bubkes to do with it, but understands. Maybe the worst part of it is that he may actually THINK that.

Then I slide over to Max and Stacy's place to find a guest post by Michael Krieger called "Conscious Capitalism", wherein he quotes the Gita and proceeds to recommend all sorts of lovely things, all sorts except ENDING capitalism, of course, which would be the ONLY way to take the ugly out of it, no matter how poetic he waxes on the subject. I mean, WHAT does he think THIS capitalism has been beside conscious. Does he really think they sleepwalked into this mess? Don't get me wrong, he makes many sterling points here, but, really, can't we be honest with ourselves even yet?

OH, OH, AND JUST ME WARMONGERING AGAIN....
