to be or not

I try to keep an eye on the comments under each succeeding piece in the latest DeGraw series on The Road to WWIII. Here's part of one that contains my favorite words in a comment to date:
... Many people seem to think it is already too late to avoid much of this. I think people who say it’s too late are weak and lazy.

If you can see what is about to happen you have to do whatever you can to stop it! It’s not too late! I will not have a defeated attitude! We can fix this, we have to!
There's someone who realizes he is an adult, that we are the ones who make this world and the ones who must fix it. He gets that adults take responsibility for things. They don't just say they are responsible and continue on irresponsibly; they take the responsibility by expending energy to fix what they have broken and keep it up until they succeed. They aim for effectiveness. They don't just let other people hear them talking as though they are good guys; they back it up with action; they realize it's our responsibility to be effective and risk everything to right the situation. Adults. Sane. True humans. Unhypnotized heroes. Concept!

Concept! They're not acting like thespians reciting lines on the stage or screen; they're being genuine, standing behind their words, if they've bothered to speak them to begin with. Voting with their feet. Money where their mouths are. Actual. Concrete. Powerful. Real. Courageous. Worthy. Not walking wastes of precious vital resources.
