download this puppy so you can skip all the commercials

The interview doesn't even start until five minutes in and then there are glitches and commercials, but I think they're talking some extremely engagingly far out stuff here, so I think the smartest way to check it out is to right click and play it on your player to be able to skip easily over the crap punctuating this thing in the first hour.

  1. It took a while to wrap my mind around the photo. It kept looking like the pattern was raised rather than depressed. I finally used ctrl+ to enlarge the photo until I could see the shadows of the row of trees clearly. That confirmed the light was coming from the bottom of the frame rather than the top. Once that distinction was made it popped into reference that it is indeed a depression.

  2. I have the same trouble with aerial photographs. Very weird. Probably age-related.
