It looks as though I can head north behind the latest storm front and hope for smooth sailing. I'll see you later this evening.

6:30 pm...
Pretty damn glorious drive home. A little bit of everything. Sun, fog, thunderation and lightning, hail, snow, wind... all by turns and interspersed with crystal clarity... the Pacific is roiling and crashing... clumps of moss and leaves and duff and all manner of fooferah in the road... little piles of unmelted hail stones... a marked decrease in the number of pinheads mixed in with my fellow motorists... didn't stop for food until I was almost here, wanting to get as much of it in while it was still light as I could.
I lived.
I have arrived.
[Oh, oh, and already my lights are coming back on... just upped my thyroid hormone dose a jot and, kazaaaart, almost immediately the old coconut starts working again... hail to the Buddha of Sentient Physicians.]
