But it strikes me that this is our chance to see more deeply into how fascistic both Keith Olbermann and Al Gore actually are. That would be valuable.
Less than a month after leaving MSNBC, liberal lightning rod Keith Olbermann said Tuesday he's headed to Current TV, the public affairs channel launched in 2005 by former Vice President Al Gore.

Olbermann will start this spring with a New York-based prime-time talk show on Current. He was also named chief news officer at Current, which is available in 60 million homes in the U.S., a little more than half the nation's homes with television, but has few viewers.

Financial terms were not divulged, although Current said Olbermann will get an equity stake in the company.

Olbermann's hiring was the biggest moment in the history of Current, which began as a network geared primarily toward young people featuring viewer-generated short videos and is now evolving into a more traditional network. Its showcase is the investigative documentary series "Vanguard."

"We now live in a world with fewer and fewer opportunities to hear truly unique, truly unfettered voices on television," Gore said. "Keith is one of those rare voices."
If ACTUALITY starts popping up on Current—with the possible exception of climate stuff—we will know that it was the fascists in charge of their paychecks and not them. If not, not.

  1. millionaires on tv. fucking awesome. really. What is the difference between Keith Olbermann and Snoop Dog?

Has he reported that the Saudi's, along with ALL oil producing countries, constantly overstate their reserves?

When Olbermann grows a sack large enough to tell the American public "Get ready to starve!" I'll know things are looking up. until then...

I'll just watch it on Huffington Post.

It was a one way ticket, was the only way to go.

Well it's only the First Amendment, it's not like it's the national anthem.
