  1. It does appear to be headed that way. I'm unclear if they are going to wait til they ram the bill up our ass or if they will do it before. I have also heard rumor and its just a rumor that if we have a general strike here. There may be other states that join us. Specifically CA. But it is just a rumor. It is only based on a conversation between one of our local electricians and a longshoreman from CA. If I recall they were the ones that shut CA down during the battle in Seattle?

  2. I hope that's right. I don't feel it. I think it's either going to fizzle or there will be one more sharp push that will be ignored. It's true the longshoremen so totally ripped it on the Seattle thing, but... you see how far that got.... I think our unions will be QUITE avid to give support, but I think it's going to take workers from across the country to pour into your governor's office and drag him out... which is to say, I don't think it's going to happen. I think the best you can get is some sort of placation that won't amount to anything and that will take even more screaming. I don't know on-the-ground but the MSM is putting it about that your protest is fizzling. NOT a good sign. :o[

  3. The MSM is utterly meaningless. We will never win that battle. It is not fizzling. We had 40 to 50 thousand yesterday more today and next weekend the farmer are coming with tractors to help with the rally. People are still sleeping around the capital, outside. We have had a continuous presence for 18 days now. We will not change Walkers mind because he doesnt work for us. But some of the local Republican representatives are getting nervous. We also have a supreme court election coming up an people are realizing that we have to put someone in there that is pro-labor, the guy in there right now is Walkers bitch. Then there is the general strike, and if they smuggle in one of the fab 14 and ram this through well then it may get ugly. So not over not fizzling.

  4. Well THAT is good to hear! I wouldn't have half-believed the MSM if it were not for the rotunda sit-in capitulation. That really bummed me out. The part about the tractors ROCKS. No. I mean it ROCKS HARD.

  5. Well this is the way the Rotunda went, there were two court proceedings. One that the capital was in lockdown to the public, the ACLU won to court injuctions saying the Capitol had to be reopened to the public but Walker didnt comply. So that evening two rulings came down.

1.) The capitol had to be reopened 8:00am the next morning or Walker would be held in contempt of court. There was a lot of cheers for that one.

2.) The capitol was to be emptied during none business hours.

You have to understand this has been completely peaceful and the organizers and protestors have gone to great lengths to show solidarity with the fireman and Police. It was the high ground to agree to the court ruling and it keeps tension between the protestors and the police. They are on our side it really incredible and we want to keep it that way. Now if they had been busting heads things would be different.

  6. I meant to say it keeps tension low between police and protestor.

But to continue on that note, the state troopers have been put in charge because they are more supportive of Walker. Still it has been good. Also Walker put the Senate majority leaders dad in charge of the troopers so go figure. But you can tell some are uncomfortable with the high police presence and others are out right embarrassed.

  7. If they had flat refused to enforce the ruling, Walker would be resigning about now. Yes, it wouldn't do much good for everyone to get arrested, and, no, violence would not have been a good scene, but possibly a bunch of citizens insisting they grow real pairs, bring their sleeping bags instead of their badges, would have done the whole thing... except... then we would not have gotten the tractors!

  8. Don't mind me. I should be writing a novel or a screenplay, because in my lexicon there is no tension between cops and protestors. The cops either join or get the hell out. It's harassment for them to be lurking around citizens going about the course of their citizenship. EVERYONE forgets that. They have NO right to be there while they're on duty. YOU shouldn't have to be there either, but definitely not having to endure police harassment. Step out of the box they've made for you.

  9. Andrew Jackson ignored a Supreme Court ruling and they put him on the twenty dollar bill.

They have to be there, and believe me , that's a good thing. The alternative is to refuse to police it giving the
green light for the Walkershitts to call in the military.

  12. Well, yessirreebub, but we're talking my scenic imagination of actuality, here, not this circus we call America. Peaceful citizens do NOT need policing of any sort, from any quadrant, and they pounded it into me I could call Andy or Barney any time something was awful, but other than that, they didn't get in my face in the course of my citizenship. So I cling to it... and even checked....

Used to be we had calling the military was against the law... in the days before NorthCom....

So. I put it to everyone that no matter what laws they've made or unmade, it doesn't make this stuff constitutional, and, OBVIOUSLY, it's up to us to put things straight.

    We won't.
