I always thought it would be the tobacco companies that would be the first to commercialize it.

Guess I was wrong!

Of course instead of it being realized as a natural curative on its own, they must first meddle with it and create a new product.

Yuh, yer head is still in the pre-Fascist configuration. Big Pharma would never let something like a War on Drugs impede their advancing bottom line. Are you crazy? Now it will be plutocrats peddling dope legally while yer average grower still faces hard time or financial ruin or both.

All that work to dignify grass with health benefits has gone to make it okay for Big Pharma to exploit it... and put the pills on the schedule... turn it into something you can only get at the pharmacy, waiving yer prescription. The little people never learn.
