The monster blogs could all be publishing vital stuff but they do not. They could all be insisting we unite for the purpose of making the insane, un-American, and outright baseless ravings of the administration (and candidates) toward the end of attacking Iran, toward the end of Iran, shrivel up and blow away for good, but they do not. What? Might they incur the wrath of powerful Zionists? Will people think they're anti-Semitic, instead of anti-Persian-by-default? What the hell is their problem? What the hell is America's problem, going this soft-headed in the face of such apocalyptic stakes? Fact is subsumed by buzz over and over and over.

What is it about the herd mentality so attractive to even otherwise intelligent humans? I've got to know! At what point do all our frivolous considerations for ourselves evaporate in favor of goodness prevailing? Can our urge for opining in place of chancy performance be this bottomless?
