[Update.... To be clear: I've long wanted the Declaration of Independence to be made part of our Constitution. So on that much we seem to be in accord. I'm, of course, a thoroughgoing Out Now fanatic, and vociferous opponent of the useless 110th. Looks like he might agree with me on those, too. But this birdbrain continues to stump for turning our Republic into a pure Democracy, a majority-rules-and-the-minority-eats-it kind of place. Now he's trying to make staying in Iraq a felony upon which we might impeach the administration. Er, we have numerous felonies -- and plenty prima facie enough, too -- upon which we might impeach them already, and a congress that wishes to keep the war to blame on Republicans obviously equally as much as * does to fatten his base. So, basically, Gravel has not yet quit using all our pain and frustration to put forward his bullshit about citizen legislators. Those SUV-drivin', American Idol-votin', creation vs. evolution cat-fightin' minions, half of whom still think Iraq attacked us on 9/11, are, as you well know, the great maturation force for which he stumps here. Sometimes senility takes a form that looks more like psychedelic abuse than mere doddering.]

Let's put it this way: a great many of those potential legislators in whom this asshole would place our future call you a "conspiracy theorist" -- a "tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist", at that -- if you mention you'd like some 9/11 Truth. Imagine if they were making the laws. That we seem to have an entire government full of traitors whose interest in filthy lucre has overcome their patriotism, their sense, their humanity is made the more dangerous by shits like Mike Gravel marginalizing the use of real patriotism, sense and humanity this way. Edwards and Obama both sounded fake to the maximum degree, not a trustworthy utterance from either of them. Richardson actually sounded genuine and has a track record to back him up. Dennis, who really has no interest in crafting the delivery of his sense such that people would take him seriously enough, didn't. Obama won the straw poll by a nose ahead of Edwards. Space aliens have eaten all the humans out there.]
