not senile

I woke up this morning saying, "Oh, I lose steam alright, but not in any truly evaporative way." Who was I talking to? And how would you lose steam in a nonevaporative way?

Also, while saying this I was remembering that I actually have read Michael Parenti before... but all day yesterday while I was running down more videos, audios and articles by him to answer questions I had from the Seattle lecture I'd posted, I had no memory at all of it. Ordinarily I leap to invoke senility at times like these, but I'm remembering being twenty-six and regaling a man with my opinion of the virtues of a bunch of interviews I'd read and how he really did have to check them out, and he said, "99, I wrote those."
