Everybody's flipping out about this Palin nomination. Pfeh. You don't get it. The space lizards picked Obama already. McCain knows it. So he's just trying to make us all as miserable as he can until November. Chill.

And while we've been thus engaged, I believe Russia may have scared the crap out of the powers that be late last night... or I guess we'd have to say late Sunday night now. That story that got all rearranged started out being a few crisp quotes of foreign minister Sergei Lavrov that made it sound a little more imperative we straighten up and fly right than anything I've found about it today... ahem... yesterday and this morning. This is as close as I could find. I am taking it that they made their point or I think there would have been some kind of horrendous flap about it already and instead it's being watered down, the EU is generally harrumphing benignly, we managed to admit to each other that Georgia was dropping cluster bombs.... All depends on the space lizards, I guess, but I think the boiling cold war may be simmering down.
