Turns out two Republican state senators are holding up the budget, digging in for their hotly desired "open primaries" as some sort of trade for not killing off their fellow Californians. See, if Republicans can vote for the Democrats they want to run against in the primaries, California will quickly become a red state. So. Want to know what's up with California's credit rating sinking like a stone, our impending bankruptcy? It's Republicans doing what Republicans do. Treason.
