obama tries to revive the UN

I don't think he has the balls to buck the Israel Lobby if they get any more vicious about the Durban II conference, but I'm very glad he's trying and that there is at least one lawmaker backing him, but I still feel that if we actually do attend it will mean watering down the thrust there to halt the extermination campaigns the Zionists use to gradually and so murderously widen the borders of the Jewish State.

I have long been an advocate of making the UN as effective a body as possible, while dismantling NATO completely. We can have treaties with allies that don't involve any sort of council, and certainly no military forces, when the UN is strong and has ample peacekeeping capabilities. It isn't as though allies cannot quickly form themselves into coalitions should the world decide to spit in another apocalyptic bid to fatten the few and slaughter the many.

So this is a nod to the positive without abandoning the negative, and if he adds moves to weaken the NATO bullshit while strengthening the UN mandate, I will be very pleased. It is definitely too early to tell on that one, but I will try not to become so jaded by all his unfriendly to the Constitution positions to note when he seems to be on the right track.

The deck IS very heavily stacked against sense, though....
