another rotten thing about our "civilization"

We could be defended for keeping her somewhere with a roof and sufficient heat and food, but WHAT has been accomplished by finding out her name, and ascertaining her legal status and notifying her daughter so she can be properly horrified and hurt again by ancient hurts? What do these things have to do with humanity, with humane treatment? Bubkes. What the heck would have been wrong with getting her proper medical attention from the git, and a nice little cozy place to be dotty till she died? If there had been family or friends wanting her, they'd have identified her long ago.

That's the root of all the problems.

And you go to tackle one thing, and they do 10 other things while you're tackling the one thing. It never ends.

Now they're trying to privatize water.

And if you fight that, they'll do 10 other things while you're fighting that.
