Yeah, you betcha, it's "trendy" as heck to read Financial Times now that the economy is totally in the sewer and you're giving it all to a bunch of quivagkizzillionairocrats.

Somebody! Let words worse than curses spring to mind!

Unless there is a secret way his "recovery" plan is supposed to work, and I can't for the life of me think why it would be secret, going completely unexplained while Princess Daisy talks his talk all over the airwaves and boardrooms and West Wing instead, this is flat out looting every single dime from everyone's pockets and making sure no one anywhere can get some back in there in the future, especially if no countries opt for "protectionism" to pull it back together for the common citizen.

Truly, Angela Merkel is the only one who doesn't seem to have lost her marbles completely... with maybe Medvedev and Putin in her little corner of relative sanity and they're just playing it a little closer to the vest.

You really gotta listen to this shill spend twenty minutes negotiating the minefield of things unsayable for answers that should have taken him three minutes at the most... and... uh... uh, uh, uh, uhm.... Do you get the feeling that "protectionism" is the new word for "communism" or "socialism"...?

FOR GODSAKES, DON'T PROTECT YOUR LABOR POOL! IT'LL RUIN EVERYTHING!

  1. My impression is that Obama sounds bored, not much conviction there. You are right: "protectionism" sounds like worshiping devil!

  2. I can see where you'd get "boredom" out of that. But I think it is the combination of his determination to project "cool" and his determination not to place even one word awry. In other words, he has memorized a position, and likely dictated to him, and he is carrying it out, without looking at what is evident to everyone... just speaking past it... a determination to pass it. I think there are two things that can account for this: supreme hubris, or terror of something we are not allowed to know.

    Either way, it is treason.
