This is, evidently, where I got all my ideas about how life is supposed to be lived. I was ruined by old movies, movies that were even old when I was just a little kid. I thought you got to marry the guy you loved. I thought you put your morals above money, other people above yourself... oh, all kinds of silly stuff.
