it was a lovely drive

It's always beautiful. Not too many white-knuckled pinheads in RVs on the skinny parts hanging out over the ocean. That was a major relief. I guess I can thank our economic meltdown for that.

I very much appreciate your hangin' in while I do all this stuff... and I hope the music's helping. This version is not the best one ever. My secret link to that one dried up a while back and I really, really miss it... but... well... this is still one of the greatest songs in music history... as was the Led Zep I left you with.

Larisa has a bit of amazing news for you... Conyers actually got the balls to release 6000 pages of Rove-indicting documents... whuh? I'll be switched.... Of course, then there's the problem of Holder and his forward-looking boss man....

AND YOU'RE GOING TO WANT TO TAKE AN HOUR OUT FOR THIS, I THINK....

  2. Yeah, I'm bummed about losing that link! So rude of them to take it away. It was perfect, perfect, perfect....

  3. Mayall picked the most excellent musicians! Old Uncle Dave and I went to see him at the Raven in Healdsburg a long time ago. He was old and not so good anymore, but the band was just to die for fantastic. That was SERIOUS fun.

  4. I saw him about 5 years ago at the casino in Jackson.

He was awesome! The small venue added to experience for sure. His guitarist was spectacular and John rocked out hard for a guy that pushing his 70's. If I recall he recently

Coco Montoya opened the show, bringing out an old, heavy set black lady who blew our socks off with her signing. I never did find out her name.
