fight fascism

Gandhi didn't mean it this way. If you're not willing to smilingly walk into a hail of bullets, you better hit back and hit back hard. That's why you keep losing the day every time you muster to the streets. This isn't about showing up to enjoy the solidarity in the streets. It's about effective opposition. If you mean to prevail, you must risk everything. Sorry. That's how it is.

I can't tell you how sick I am of seeing Americans just let the police take whoever they damn well take, even if they're whining about it as it happens. The police are trained to ignore that crap. The power you think you're fighting, while really only annoying them, will not be stopped until you physically stop them. This might come in the form of numbers so great the threat of being physically stopped stops them of itself, or it would have to come in the form of actually physically stopping them and their enforcers. Sorry. That's how it is.

This is pathetic. A circus. And, yes, yes, you will say at least they showed up, and that really is more than most are doing, but it is also doing more to convince others to stay home than to even smudge the defenses of the criminals running our show. That is as plain as the nose on your face. So. Uhm. WTF? You deficient in the mental capacity? You a trained seal? A juggling act? If all you are doing is convincing half the world that you're a clown and the other half that they are so much safer staying home, what in the fuck are you doing even thinking you are against these fascists? You are HELPING them. You think you hinder them somehow, don't you? What you are calling a hinderance, they see as excellent public relations.
