I am trying to keep my cool. Working my little fingers to the bone the past couple days on some projects I've got simmering, and trying to just coast along in a not too grief-stricken mode. So. It's a lovely, lovely day here today. I betook myself to my garden to putter for a few moments. The problem with this peaceful and practical mode of just staying even and clear and not too bumblingly bumpy is that it puts me in the way of what my neighbor lady considers "singing". I've heard autistic people doing a much more tuneful job, but it truly puts one in mind of proximity to someone making an alarming sort of lilting groan over and over and over and over again.

I don't know if it was my bare feet that set her off... she clearly feels I'm a floozy and a half for going out unclad so provocatively... but I do begin to get the idea she may have reason to fear for the attentions of her long-suffering husband.

And last night I was taking abuse from Old Uncle Dave and even some sniffles from Agent BB2 about my determination they should turn off their fucking tvs and smash them to bits with sledge hammers. One of my arguments against even just watching the science shows was that OUR MAINSTREAM SCIENCE IS MOSTLY BULLSHIT. These guys are both very smart men, but not even very smart men realize the extent to which the murderating memes of the controllers get slipped into them during their relaxations.

I find I am beginning to lose my patience on the subject of Julian Assange. I think this is happening because I still fear actually naming the journalists I know are behind Assange and Wikileaks, that my being frustrated in that urge is making me feel testy about people persisting in suspicions I feel have been planted by the Democratic-Fascists to mindfuck you further into uselessness against their true purpose.

You guys need to remember that perception management is everything to this administration, to the global elite. I was accused of homophobia!

I object, man. I make the rounds of various sites every day, and as I'm sure you've noticed, Antiwar is unerringly my first stop. I love that site because they have everyone who is antiwar, no matter what political stripe, brought together from all over the place right there, but this piece just pisses me off because he's avoiding saying real things by positing that Obama isn't smart enough when it's blaringly obvious that Obama ISN'T IN CHARGE. Still, this won't put me off going there to find wonderful pieces by all kinds of people, and I'm stupid for that Scott Horton kid who does their radio interviews.

He ROCKS.

I think he has his head up his ass about economics, failures of insight here and there, and suspect him of making the egregious tactical mistake of ignoring some salient facts about 9/11, but, whoa, the interviews are good stuff, Maynard.

I do like you do. I mostly just read headlines. I skip a lot of them altogether, skim a lot of them, and every once in a while I am sucked in and really read the stuff. Everywhere, not just Antiwar. This is, obviously, the way everyone has to go about being an aware person in the world nowadays. The downside is that we tend to miss stuff we just don't want to know about, miss stuff from people whose attitudes we think suck, miss stuff because we're punishing someone for pissing us off by not visiting their site anymore, miss stuff because we think we are going to die of needing a break from depression if we look at one more terrifying item on the tubes, miss stuff because we decide to try to get a life, get out in it instead of keep reading about it.

In this case, I hadn't missed it. I'd tried to ignore it, for reasons I've already stated here, but shall reiterate. This was my response:

See, I condensed all that down to "Obama is an ASSASSIN" on my blog and felt that should suffice.
