this is just stupid

It was decades ago, I know for a fact that parents allowed him to have sex with their underage daughters, although that does not appear to have been the case for this one, and was told by his sister-in-law that his wife didn't have a problem with it either. None of that excuses it or makes it legal, but the girls I knew who had slept with him were not traumatized by it, but happy about it, and after all this time, and the victim having settled with him and joined in his request to have the case dismissed, arresting him seems only good for extortion.

The *Swiss* arrested him? What about that neutrality thing?

They're evidently not neutral on criminal matters, but I can't help but think this was some jackass trying to make his bones in the Swiss law enforcement hierarchy, or a political maneuver of some sort by those in charge. It's too dumb... too outrageous. The crime took place 32 years ago, for crapsakes. He's old. Who the hell knows what kind of self-righteous or venal fucks were behind such a petty thing. Maybe he's been misbehaving over there and they want his ass out. I have no idea, really, but I can't think of a good reason for them to have arrested him unless I've missed something....

Oh Dan how can you say that? So he goes to jail and the us rich can keep their money in accounts?
We'll see how this plays out, my money on they get to keep the money in secret acounts.
