BB2 has linked the 2004 BBC documentary, The Power of Nightmares; The Rise of the Politics of Fear. I'm sure you've all spent the three hours needed to take in the history and intelligence contained therein... but... well... the Straussian ideology is still running the world and I think we all need to hit the refresh button, watch it all over again.

Listen to neocons mouthing Straussian mythology to justify their corruption. Listen to idiotic excuses for terrorist ideology and action. Look at the psychedelic wreck producing the documentary and constituting what it documents. Is there a genuine soul in the bunch? Anyone acting in good faith? And even if you think some of them have been or are, WHO are the ones who benefit from this disorienting and disfiguring spume of spinning droplets of acid?
