  1. The Ninth Circuit is heavily populated with Republican appointees who can be counted on to protect those who appointed them

    I think the above statement is wrong, the 9th has always been of the L side but maybe I'm wrong. The court should do the right thing and throw the bums out on the street so they can be sent to jail.

  2. I think there has been upheaval there. I think the 9th was identified as a problem for the righties, but I don't know where it left off.... I just know that it's bullshit to even think in terms of right and left ideologies holding sway in this sort of thing anymore. There isn't any kind of decision or determination that will make this go in the direction of justice, to accord with our Constitution, toward good old fashioned probity and good faith action... no matter who's on any court.
