I'm thinking maybe I should make an attempt to watch all the Matrix movies in a row or something... help direct my energy to higher order solutions... or something....

From the description of the Mondale/Hersh video at YouTube:
ReplyDeleteHow much power does our constitution provide to protect our rights?
Fuck - absolutely no power at all lately!
But the Constitution is words on paper - it requires people to enforce it. People who have the power to enforce it, but they are all bought out by those who would throw the Constitution away. Don't forget - to them it's only a "Goddamn piece of paper". An obstacle in their path.
Listening now to Mondale/Hersh now.

My you do have a way with words!
LOL
I think some kamikaze lefty scholars and heroes need to draw up a brand new one, distribute it far and wide, with the date set for its institution, and let the entire populace rise up to make it so on that day.
ReplyDeleteMight turn out to be the shortest revolution in history, with either no casualties or more than ever in history, but this shit would be over, pft, kaput, pau, history for a very long time after it.
I like using colorful speech... 'specially when someone I like as much as Scott keeps missing the Mac truck mowing him down like that....
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that Mondale/Hersh thing is from a couple years ago, but maybe it just SOUNDS like one they did a couple years ago. I linked it because it was part of my attention stream today and I'd thought when I first saw it that it was that Hersh lecture we don't get to hear.... I'm kind of pissed at him for saving so much vital information until he gets around to publishing it.
ReplyDeleteIt was from last March...

Rin needs the computer now - annual spay and neuter clinic. She and Kae volunteer to work at it and Rin schedules people's cats and dogs. Numerous veterinarians and the animal shelters ban together and give free spay and neutering to the pets of low and no income people. They will be doing 850 this year. They also catch them up on their shots and heartworm medicine plus give them a [eek!] microchip.
(I'm OK with the chips for dogs - it's helped us return several of the stray dogs Kae has brought home to their owners.)
Except those chips frequent end up turning into bad tumors.... :-(
