They moved the webinar downstairs to a strategy session and then booted us nonmembers off. I think maybe there will be video of the stuff that continued upstairs, along with the earlier stuff, up online tomorrow. So now I'm listening about more Israeli perfidy... for drill, I guess, by now, knowing already enough to keep me from having to collect all this information... and using up the images I was doodling on while listening to the press conference earlier....

  1. Well fuck!

After clicking the wrong button and dumping my comment twice I've given up!

I should have done it outside of this friggin window then pasted it. I kept clicking the left button which loads the new link in this tab rather than clicking the wheel button to open a link in a new tab. I had it about 50% done the first time, I was going for the last site count when I dumped it again.

I had created lists of all the supposed progressive sites such as Raw Story, Huffpro, Common Dreams, Democratic Underground, Cannonfire, Truthout etc. - about ten in all.

Then behind each I listed the number of front page articles pertaining to this conference.

A big fat Zero for all of them.

Then stories about Tiger Woods - about 20 total.

Then stories about Coulter, Beck, Linbaugh and Palin - about 30 total.

    TOTALLY PATHETIC!

  2. Shit!

I wish you'd kept yer act together! I find I do not voluntarily go to ANY of those, plus TPM and The Brad Blog, for reasons similar to precisely this. They are ALL shilling for the fascist democrats... maybe some merely out of the dimness of habit, the difficulty of awakening from hypnosis even under the most shocking circumstances, but plenty of them PURPOSELY opting to keep safe by "loyally" playing the mindfuck game for them.

This is SO depressing. It was foreseeable, but nonetheless seriously depressing.

I also noted that in this "webinar" thing, they are obsessed with credentials. They don't exclude you if you don't have them, but they are hammering for dignified types of every enviable profession to come forward. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THE REASONING FOR THIS, AND I AGREE WITH IT. But it's depressing anyway.

  3. I used to go to those places, had to dig the links up out of the dust bins. It's been several years since I frequented them.

Hopefully they will make it available to us.

    they are obsessed with credentials

Hey they're Professional Architects and Engineers - no explanation needed.
